Stabilitex TA20C is a medium-weight tearaway backing made from recycled cotton fibers, designed to provide dependable support on stable, non-stretch fabrics. The 2.0 oz weight supports moderate stitch counts, helping control stitch formation and reduce shifting while tearing away cleanly after stitching.
Made from reclaimed cotton fibers, this backing is particularly suited for fire-retardant applications. Unlike synthetic backings, cotton will not melt under high heat and will instead disintegrate, making it a reliable choice for FR garments where material performance matters.
